Default Hey Mechanics- what oil in what hole

now that I own a 2010 Ultra classic
I don't have 2 nickels to rub together.
This bike has to last me till my last day on earth.
Reading different posts, sounds like some oil is better for different things.
I have syn3 in all holes. Bike is a noisy little bastard
I have been around since before the AMF days of the leaking leaks
but I am a rider, not a fixer
I just want this to run fine and last forever
Have screaming eagle stage 1 with download and rineharts.
I did put an HD oil cooler on it

all help will greatly be appreciated, and probably be put in use, unless I am told to stick my thumb up my *** and jump up and down on one leg

thanks
Joe

hey dansflhti

I figured I would get some comments by asking what goes in what holes,
but I wasn't expecting a comment like that.
Thought some idiots might say something of a sexual nature

I am only looking for some good solid information

sorry if I offended you
I thought even some holy rollers out there would get a little laugh

Hey JoeN, I'm not sure if your question is for real but you have been on here long enough to know how to use the search feature...right?

You want it to last forever...get a good tuner and scratch that dealer download.

Use good oil and change it often.
keep it shiny side up.

To answer your question I was told by an old mech that I trusted something that I did and I know the "Gurus" are going to flame on but oh well let them.
I had an '09 ultra that I couldn't get into neutral and it was a ticking bitch, this mech told me to add some Lucas Oil Stabilizer in all three holes, so the next oil change I did I put the syn 3 in all three but in the primary I put 32 oz of syn3 and 6 oz LOS in the trans I put 26 oz syn and 6 oz LOS in the engine I put 3 qts syn and 16 oz LOS then topped it off to the fill mark with syn.
Results, I didn't go a block and could get neutral with just a touch and the engine top end noise quieted down to almost nothing, When I traded the bike in it had 75k miles on it and ran very strong. I am sold and I run it in my 14.
I know the old sayings about miracle oils and all that but I spent my whole life as a mech and I believe if something works then the "non believers" can bite me.

I'm a believer too. I bought a new Dodge Dakota in 1997, and it sounded like a coffee can full of rocks at idle since new. After the first oil change I substituted 1 qt of motor oil for 1 qt of Lucas. Quiets it down nicely, has 216k miles now and doesn't burn any noticeable amount of oil (a little coolant though).
