Default HD Passing Lamps Fogging

Bought a new HD halogen passing lamp kit (#68208-98) They fog up on the inside after a few minutes. Does not make any difference if sitting still or moving. They clear up after bout 1/2 hr. or so once turned off. Any ideas as to why? Anyone else have this happen?

Maybe you got the "fog" lights. Buh dump dump.

Seriously though. Have you ridden with them where they've been on for an extended time. Sometimes the moisture will evaporate out after the lamps have been run for awhile. I've had moisture trapped in cheap aftermarket headlamps for a truck I previously owned. I put a couple of those little silica "do not eat" bags in there and got the bulk of the moisture out.

Welcome to the forum. Wash them out with isopropyl alcohol and and rinse with water. It's a common problem. I also use an air chuck to blow out any water after washing.

Clean well inside with alcohol then add some LED bulbs in side problem solved. (If they are the kind that you can replace the bulb)
