important issues

would prefer tight than loose
ease of putting on & off
minimal size when off of bike
non-scratch material

an old bed sheet is the best - soft and will keep dust away...

What is your goal? A dust cover or cover with protection from impacts (kids w/bikes, pets, etc)?

My experience is that tight covers aren't as easy to get on & off.

I wanted indoor covers for dust protection only..

I used sheets for several years, but they would fall off every now & then... other than that they worked well.

I bought a couple "Nelson-Rigg DC-505-04-XL Grey X-Large Indoor Dust Cover".... they are cheap, soft, and have lasted a few years with no signs of wear. I got mine on Amazon..$26.75 for the XL for my softail and $28.84 for XXL for my ultra

Good luck with your purchase...

I've used bed sheets for years. I use a $19.95 wally mart for road trips, packs down small.
This will do the job.

bed sheet.

you want a "dust cover"- it needs to be able to allow fumes from gas or battery charging and moisture to pass through and away from the bike.

you want 100% cotton- polyesters can scratch finishes.

to spend more than you need to is folly

100% Cotton King Sized Sheet.
Breathes, no scratch, rolls up tight, pick one up at the thrift store under $5.
I cover a 'Vette with a "California King" cotton set - fitted sheet fits snug around the nose, loops onto the mirrors. Flat sheet covers doors, top, and rear end.
Great for in the garage!

I have the HD indoor/outdoor cover and it works great. Pull chords on the top and bottom let you adjust it as tight as you want. And the Harley black and orange design is awesome!
