Default Mustang vs Sundowner Seats

I currently ride a 2014 Road King with a Sundowner Seat from Harley, has anyone owned a Mustang Super Touring Regal Seat? I was curious which one is a better touring seat? Appreciate any thoughts. Thanks!!!

Any quality aftermarket seat is better than a Harley seat.

I have had le pera seats and c&c seats but by far the best seat I've owned has been Corbin , I have currently on my 14 stg is the gambler . its a little sportier . If your looking for long haul two up seat get the dual tour. Don't let the firm saddle fool you.

I had a mustang wide tour and it was good god about 60000 miles then I swapped it for a Sundowner...to me, the Sundowner is way better than the Mustang.....was able to go farther than the Mustang without getting sore.
Sundowner is one of HD's better made seats .

Before deciding on replacing your seat why not consider sending it to Mean City Cycles and have them modify it. They have great reviews, fairly priced and quick turn around time. The only thing that I have read is stay away from impact gel modification.

Another vote for the Sundowner, tried Mustang and LePera, went back to the Sundowner, way more comfortable on a long ride.

I second the Corbin. I have one dual tour, and getting ready to order another..

Reason?

I have one for a 13-down on my '14. It fits, but I think the shape of the back seat will be better suited for the Mrs. and I want something a bit more custom....

...and heated

I prefer the Mustang because it doesn't feel as soft as the Sundowner. I like the firm support, especially when riding more aggressively on the curves.

I agree Corbin is the way to go. I have a solo tour on my FLTRU, my wife as the classic solo on her fltr. Great seat, far better than the sundowner! I had sundowners on two previous bikes an FLHT and a FLTR . Corbin is hands down the better seat

That's what I did. Sundowner modified by MCC.
