12" Carlini Apes vs 14" on Road King
Hey guys, a question on handlebar height. I am 5'10" and my 2010 Road King is in dire need of some Carlini apes to help my back on longer rides. The original bars suck for guys with lower back issues. I currently use a HD Brawler solo seat which puts me lower into the bike. For those of you that run Carlinis, would the 12" be enough or should I go 14"? What would look better also....Opinions welcome.
Also toying with the though of the Carlini Menace Apes vs the Gangster Apes. I had 14" Gangsters on my Dyna when I sold the bike. If I hadn't have had to swap all the cables and wires back over, I'd had taken them off before selling the bike.
Thanks guys

Hey Capt Morgan, can you do me a simple, but huge favor? Can you lay a broom stick or something across the bars from grip to grip, then tell measure from the center of the stick down to the dash? Give me that number, and where on the dash the drop hits? I'm trying to get an idea of your hand placement.
I'm trying to figure out which way I'm going too. Carlini Original Ape 1.5's, but they only come 13" or 16".
