Default Tire pressure

What is the best tire pressure for a single rider on a 2014 Road King?

I run 42 psi in back and 41psi in front like the it says on the tire.
I've found no reason to change the manufacturers recommendations.

I would go with what's in the owners manual.

I believe it is 40 rear, 36 front.

I agree, at least for Dunlops. This is what I use for the American Elites I'm running. When I switch to pirelli night dragons later this year, I'll go with what pirelli says for my application.

This gets brought up waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to often. Go by the manual, not the tire. The tire specs are the max you can run. 36 to 38 in the front is fine and 40 in the rear is plenty. I do believe the manual says 36f and 40r.

For my Road King, 38 front, 40 rear. But 40/40 seems tp work well also. Decent grip with uniform wear.
