I've got an oil temp gauge and keep an eye on it...it's what us OCD folks do. (Also have the HD oil cooler w/chrome cover installed.) The fans work and look better than the other options out there, and it has already been pointed out, the customer service is second to NONE!
I'd buy them again.

I have them on two bikes. They work very well. In fact I was surprised how well they do work. I have the thermal switches on both of them and leave them on full time and let the thermal switch control them. Customer service from Jason has been top notch in my experience. I won't have another bike without them.

Agreed! Thats exactly what I am going to do. I sold my bike with the intention of putting them on my CVO 110, but the guy talked me into selling them to him. So now I have to replace them.
But are they not using the temp sensor in the head any more? I see on the site you can get a oil cooler thermostat instead?

Can they work too well? Is there a recommended operating temperature for the bike?

I do the same, I turn them on when in traffic, they work and look great, better than the other options out there.

I have had them on my bike for a little over 2 years now. I never turn them off. Bike never enters EITMS. Very happy with my fans.

Has anyone installed them on a '14 or newer Ultra Limited and what were the results? I am interested in them for my bike.

I'm the same as "skydude"----- Worked so good on my '03 Electra Glide Classic last year, I've put them on my '05 FXDXI as well!
