Default screamin eagle manual primary tensioner

I have a 2008 FLHX that I just replaced inner primary with chrome ,new bearing and seals and installed a Screamin Eagle manual primary adjuster.
My question is are these manual adjusters typically noisier due to the chain slack

Bump to see if anyone noticed if the manual tensioners are a bit more noisy

It is noisy, the SE is probably the noisiest one available. After I installed it in my 2009 and had the bike running I wanted to remove it and take my chances with the auto-tensioner but didn't want to mess with IPB problems and left it in. Been running my SE tensioner for a while and the tighter you run it, the more racket it will make. Every 6 to 8k miles I pull the primary cover to check pad wear. So far so good but probably only have 15k miles on it running Dino oil. I am running it much looser than the oem auto-tensioner but it is mostly quiet and keeps the chain where it is supposed to be.

Do you re-use the outer primary cover gasket or install a new one every time?

Have had my outer primary cover off 4 times in the past 3 months. Have re-used the same gasket every time. I do wipe down gasket real good with B12 Chem tool. no leaks yet.
