Homemade Ignition Alignment Tool really worked
Damn potholes made my handlebars move a bit
. I had to go under there and tighten it back down. Pulled the Ignition out and you know the rest. It wasn't going back in. Saw the vid of this guy below from here who made the tool.
Thanks to this guy....
My here's my tool
.....im selling them for $59.95 :lol: the screw driver was taking too long. Went straight to Home Depot.
I'm back on that damn road.......

I found a vinyl coated door hanger hook in the garage and straightened it out. Perfect fit and works great.

You've got a 2014 SG? You don't need to remove the switch to get to the bars.

Luckily I've never had any issues with the screwdriver.

What size copper tube is that? 1/4? 5/16?

You definitely don't need to remove the ignition on a 15 street glide. I'm pretty sure the 14 is the same.

5/16 on the copper tube. I used it when I did my bars it works ok. jim's sells the tool so I just broke down and bought it so nothing get jacked up accidently
