A big worry about very little. Hayes builds the master cylinders; apparently after sitting for a long time (like winter storage), there is the possibility of a chemical reaction that might cause out-gassing & air bubbles in the fluid.
My bike is on the list - but I rolled it out of dealer storage 2 weeks ago after it sat since early November without issue. I'll take it in & have it done some morning like I did for the previous recall, which was the other one for the clutch master cylinder where the bike could creep forward (mine never did).
The problem with the brakes was an assembly issue. My bike was not on that recall.
To each his own - but other than a few growing pains with a new product, I don't see the story here.

Have any of you seen this?
Harley-Davidson is recalling nearly 46,000 motorcycles in the U.S. because they could stay in gear due to clutches that won't fully disengage.
The recall covers certain Electra Glide, Ultra Limited, Police Electra Glide, Street Glide, Road Glide and Road King models from the 2014 and 2015 model years.
Harley-Davidson Motor Co. said in documents that gas bubbles can cause the clutch master cylinder to lose its ability to fully disengage the clutch, especially if the bike has been parked for a long time. This could cause a rider to lose control of the motorcycle if it's started in gear.
The problem was found through customer complaints. Harley reported 27 crashes and four minor injuries.
Dealers will flush the clutch and rebuild the master cylinder. The recall was to start April 23.

The CVOs that are getting the recalls are the black one also.
Not sure why this maybe the case?
Can anyone confirm a recall notice on their Chrome controls.
