Hello folks, howdy Dad, lol.....The painter of my VTX1300S was a gentleman by the name of Bryan Dwight from North Carolina (http://bdscycles.com/ ).....Mods, please delete if it's not okay to post links to businesses. He did a great job and had my tins already in stock. After he painted them and sent them to me, then I sent my stock ones back. Amazing work. The photos do absolutely NO justice and it makes the red stand out too much with the flash. The flames have two different looks pending on lightingwith the way he applied the different shades. I'll try and get some day shots in the morning without the flash to try and do some justice. Here's some of his other work(including Harleys, lol):

Don't worry though, I shall be joining the Harley Ranks soon as I settle in with a new PD and get my Peace Officer Edition(not sure on which model though).....Dad's Ultra sounds awesome with the Basani(sp?) setup he has.
Here's one of the many nice Harleys he has completed:

Look at the detail on the flames and how the interact with each other instead of just sitting flat on the tins.

Best wishes and Ride safe!!!!

Sweet paint. And chunky, you stay safe out there. Some people don't give the law the respect and admiration they deserve.

VTX retro is a sweet looking ride with a solo seat. Yours looks great with the custom tins. I sort of miss my X but the feeling leaves me everytime I throw my leg over the RK!
