Can anyone help?

Looking for confirmation either way that the HD 68414-05 Spot bulb on my 2006 UC crosses to the 881 Halogen bulb.

The service manual I have shows the removal of the spot bulb but I can't see a P/N anywhere. Called the local dealer and was given the HD 68414-05 for single OEM bulb and HD 68348-05 for a pair of these bulbs.

The newer spots take an 881 bulb, I just put a set in today. I did check the part number of the newer ones though and it is not an 05 number. The base of the bulb should be a two pin connection and 90 degrees to the bulb.

 

The 881 (27 watts)uses Pgj13 base. You can use an 896 ,37.5 watt bulb instead. An 894 is similar but doesnt have the the black tip,it is completely clear. I don't know how that would effect the optics.
