16" 18", doesn't matter. That is rim diameter. You need to get the correct size tire, sidewall height. I've got friends that have air ride with 16", 17" and 18" rear rims. But proper tire size to fit your application is the key.
Hey thanks for the reply man, so what would be the ideal height for an 18" wheel? Bummer cuz I just bought a new rear tire couple thousand miles ago. But I will keep it in mind for next one.
I have the same problem on my 07 SG with the 150/70r18 tire. What lowering kit did you use to flip and raise the shocks 1". I too have a rather new tire.
