I've been considering getting one for my '03 RK. I've read a lot of good things, but wanted to hear some recent insight. I'm looking at the model 20-00.
Sorry, never used true track on a touring bike, but thanks to grbrown, i used it on a dyna. Loved it, can't say enough about them. If it works near as well on a touring chassis as it does a dyna, i can highly recomend them.
I've never noticed much of a wobble unless I doing 90+ which doesn't happen often. However, this morning a guy passed me up on a sg and he was all over the damn place literally.. If my bike did that I'd install everything I could
I cant recall specific user names but Ive traded posts and PMs with several who have nothing but good stuff to say about them on a touring bike.... Im fixin to get some as soon as I get some other stuff straightened out.
I have had one on my Glide for several years and also used one on my Dyna (since sold the bike) and they both worked remarkably well. The bike will feel better even before you get into top gear for the first time and give you improved feel and handling at all times. I heartily recommend them. There are cheap copies available, as well as other devices that make similar claims, but True-Track were first on the market and IMHO address the technical challenge the best!
I bought a Progressive Touring Link at a good price from Amazon, installed it on my wobbly 2007 FLHTC, amazing difference!!! I also added Progressive 444 heavy duty spring shocks, with the link and shocks it's a whole new bike.
