Question Removing Footboards

Does anyone know if I can remove the footboards and replace them with pegs on a 2015 Road King without going through the expense of forward controls which is running about $800? I have already added an EZBrake and an extended toe shifter so the footboards are clear but I just don’t like them. I have been riding a Wideglide for years and not comfortable with the footboards. Highway pegs are an option but I do a lot of city driving. Thanks

Not without customizing something.

Bite the bullet and get forward controls
