Be glad. The manual that was issued for the 2014 model rollout was not all that great. The current manual is much better, in my opinion.

Since Harley was to cheap to send me the 2015 Boom manual for free, my dealer gladly got one for me.

A friend of mine has a 2014 Limited and I have messed with his GPS some. I find that is definitely not as user friendly as the Garmin, and does not have the capabilities as far as I can tell. Good luck getting it all figured out.

I read on here somewhere that some dealers gave classroom introductions to new owners. Do they still do that? Would help if several owners got together with an 'expert'. Or perhaps the local Chapter of HOG?!

My dealer has a designated expert. He went to a HD school on the thing and has a 2014 himself. He gave me the rundown when I got my bike and has been a good resource since I got it.

The NAV works fine with the 1.18.3 software update. Definitely requires some reading & button pushing to get the hang of it, but once mastered, it works reasonably well.

i have been away for the last 4 days, i only had the bike a couple of days before i left but i did have some time to mess with it. i've found some really cool things with the navi, as it has 3 different settings for maps (fastest, scenic, and twisties). i cant wait to try the different settings and see how it works. you can select many different points of interest (gas stations, restaurants, hotels, state parks, harley dealers, plus a bunch of other stuff). once you play with it a bit it actually is pretty cool. i havent used a garmin in a long time so i really dont know how it compares. in the recent past i have used my phone and google maps, which worked fine for me.
