New to this forum and new Harley owner ....
I recently bought a 06 Road King 88ci
My question is my uncle offered to give me a Arlen Ness air cleaner off an 08 Ultra Classic 96ci I don't think it will fit my 88ci ?????

 

Congrats that's a nice bike. I know they changed the fit of the AC but not sure which year.

 

An easy way to find out is look online and see what that air cleaner fits. I have a Ness on an 05 and like it. 08 was a transitional year, but they still used the same throttle body. Besides, if he's just giving it to you why wouldn't you try it?

 

Thanks for the info I'm going to do more research but the best bet is probably to ride up there and try and swap them . I'll get the answer real quick that way ...
