Default Tour Pak

Contemplating piecing together a home made Road Glide Ultra. Thought I saw this in another tread, but is it possible to have a King Tour Pak with the small backrest?

Yes it's possible. If you are piecing together the pack then get a small back rest(cushion) and mount it or have it mounted

Is this like what you're talking about?

Well, I want the big Tour Pak with a small backrest. Same backrest as is shown.

All factory tour packs tops are pre drilled for the back rests. If you mount a Chopped pack backrest on a King tour pack, you are going to have a few holes showing.

wellllll.. this is 100% correct... but there IS a way around it possibly.

You can order all of the parts as replacement parts vice kit parts maybe. I have not looked into TP parts, but I know that a dealer has the ability to order MOST items as individual pieces.

WORST case scenario would be you order the King TP AND the chopped TP, then swap lids and sell the "extra" pieces.

This is not 100% true. I bought a brand new in-the-box King Tour Pak at the dealer and it was not drilled for any kind of backrest.

My 2014 had everything drilled for the seat and hinges, but nothing else.

There used to be a plain king tour Pak available that would not have the holes or the ones on rear used for rear lighting and cosmetic bumpers. don't know now as I have not had the need to look.
