Trask or a 120r

You will end up building either motor. The 120r requires some work to make it a street engine dow low. The stock 266e cams really pull hard from 3 k up but are dogish from idle to 3 k.
120R valve spring are overly heavy and should be changed as well as lifters.
If you install a turbo, you may upgrade these parts anyway so in my world you could be $$$ ahead.
Its really about choices, i went with 120r as i am not a turbo fan...

Another vote for Trask turbo. I have a buddy that just went this route and it is phenomenal! rides around town off boost, until you get to a light and go through the gears of course, but while cruising, it is like any other very smooth mannered bike. BUT when the giggle grip is twisted back, she is a fire breathing monster! The power is there when you call on it no matter the gear selection. Sure a 120R can be made to run and run very well but the turbo allows low compression and a he*luva cool factor. Just my 2 cents.

Oh, one other thing. In the summer months when it's 100deg outside. How would you like to run around the block sucking on 200deg + of intake temps. Can't be fun....
Just playing devils advocate......
I'm making same plans as you. all the same thoughts are entering my mind.
We can upgrade our 103's to push out what a stock 120" does??? So spending $10g to upload a 120" into my bike is rough on my tender butt.
