Theoretical wireless headset/microphone system
I say "theoretical" because I have not purchased and tried this but ...
In theory a wireless transmitter/receiver could be adapted to go from the standard HD headset to the bike but using this kit and some cables:
http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_i...50528_thursday
Wire the receiver into the bike's system - mount in dash bag or glove box
Attach the transmitter to the headset with a custom cable
Put transmitter in shirt pocket
This should create an open two way connection between the transmitter and receiver in a way that the bike thinks it's just a cable.
Not as portable as Bluetooth from the helmet but it would allow the rider to get off the bike without being tethered with a cable.

I suspect you'll have issues trying to "butcher" these up to get them wired to interface with the bike, then you'll need to worry about impedance matching, figuring out how to eliminate the noise issues described in the reviews of the product & how to mount the mating unit to your helmet & allow battery replacement every 3 hours.
