Default Replacing police bag pucks

Looking for something to replace the pucks on my saddlebags. Thinking maybe a skull, or something else.
I have seen the latches that are offered, however, I was looking for something a little different.

I have used cop bags for years and though I prefer the ease of use with the puck I always look at what others have done.

I have seen folks remove the puck part exposing the metal shaft, .

Then I have seen many different objects mounted to the shaft either with set screws or adhesives.

I have been watching your post and we have "chatted" previously and I bet you can easily figure out how to do something neat !!

My friend is a machinist and we discussed making something on mine but I am just too lazy to do anything. Maybe I am odd but I kinda like to keep stuff stock when possible even though my Cop bike looks not so stock !! BUT most parts are HD just not stock on this bike.

Oh some of the items seen were pool *****, real hockey pucks, metal skulls, plastic skulls, levers rather than a round puck and such.

I thought of crystal ancient door *****, shifter ***** from my old cars ot t handles, large ball bearings and old toilet flush handles. Again I am too lazy to do any of it for myself, the stuf there works.

Hey bhTed, I haven't really seen anything different except for the pushbutton latches. Hoping I can come up with something different.

Look at this picture, now imagine what can you affix to the shaft ?? Modern adhesives are amazing.
