Is this 2011 a Road Glide Ultra a good deal for $16k?
Hi, I have been in the EVO classic section for a little while with my 1990 Springer. My interest in riding Harley's has advanced and I am now stepping up to a more comfortable ride for the wife & I. We are meeting tomorrow to close on the deal and sign over the check & receive the title. I have looked at the bike and it is in excellent condition. There is a small blemish on the front fender, but nothing major. I have looked around at other Road Glide Ultra's and this one is one of the lowest price ones I could find.
The biggest thing I looked at is this one has a lot of little chrome pieces, a Mustang seat, sissy bar, quick disconnects for the bags & tour pack, and Vance & Hines true duals. It has also been tuned & dyno'd and comes with some sort of power pack programmer. Another good thing is that it comes from a private seller that is a dedicated Harley rider, not a dealer trying to make a buck (not that that is bad). The seller is in the process of knee replacement surgery and needs to go with a trike.
This is the write up on the ad:
$16,200 - I talked him down to an even $16k
2011 HARLEY ROAD GLIDE ULTRA- GREAT RIDING BIKE WITH LOTS OF POWER, WITH ONLY HAS 6,859 MILES, HAS ALOT OF EXTRAS, MUSTANG SEAT, LIGHT BAR ADDED TO THE TOURING PACK QUICK CONECT AND EXTRA BACK REST LUGGAGE RACK WITH LIGHT BAR WITH QUICK CONNECT, EXHAUST PIPES HAVE BEEN ADDED, A 4" SMOKE WINDSHIELD, HAVE STANDS FOR TOUR PACK AND HARD BAGS,ALSO TWO HELMET WITH INTERCOM. THIS BIKE HAS ABOUT $5000 OF OPTIONS
Please let me know what you all think!

People offer such a price expecting a low bid offer and I would have certainly gone lower than 16K, starting at 15 and negotiating from there. That being said, still seems like a great deal, especially with the true dual exhaust. Either have the lower legs painted to match or chrome and that would be a super sweet scoot. Best of luck and I love the Road Glide.

KBB comes in at around $13,275 trade in value and $17,550 retail. NADA says it is worth between $14,271 & $18,853
I tried that, but anything less than $16k and he was going to keep it and take his chance with his knee replacement.
Yes, if for some unforeseen reason I don't buy it, I will send you a PM with the sellers info. But I have already been approved for the loan and I am going thru with the complicated task of financing a vehicle from an out of state private owner.
Thanks for all the replies, Shimaze
