I use the digital gaurd dawg basic model simple install bike will not start without the fob, automatically arms great for gas stops no one can just hop on and start the bike ,it's just an electronic starter relay that pairs up to the fob I have had one on 3 Harley's no probs ever

So when I'm in Sturgis, bike parked outside my motel door, ignition locked, siren armed, key and FOB in the room with me, disc brake lock installed, I'll likely have the pager by then, how you gonna get my bike ? I know they say if they want it they are going to get it, but I can't think like a thief. What am I missing ?

Just like the old adage, "You don't have to run faster than an alligator. You just have to run faster than your buddy." They'll probably get a bike, but with those precautions, they'll likely opt for an easier one than yours. With the number of bikes that show up in Sturgis, I imagine it's a thieves paradise. Someone will be too drunk to lock it up and gone it will be if they spot it.

Best of luck to you. I hope your efforts keep it safe!
