Default Wild 1 16" Apes on Road King - Cable Length

So i've decided I'm going to put some 16" Wild 1 WO509's on my 2012 Road King(abs). I've been researching on cable lengths and the general consensus seems to be +8 cables on the clutch/brake.

Can anyone confirm what length cables they used? I would like for the cables to fit well and not have a ton of extra clutch or brake cable leftover.

Also plan to go with +12 wiring extensions.

I have 509's on my 13 Road King. I initially thought the shop (yeah I wimped out) installed +6, but they were all +8. He hand made the wire extensions one by one, and staggered them, so I can't tell you what length they are.

ALso, well placed cable clamps really make a difference in how cables flow on the bike. I got my clutch cable perfect, still working on the brake line. That's gonna need a different angled fitting up at the master due to the excessive overhang of the 509's.

just go to the dealer and get the SE Throttle Grip Sensor. It's about 110 bucks. Eventually you may have problems from splicing the wires. You can spend 7-11 hours splicing and heat shrinking your wires, or you can get the SE plug-n-play kit, installed in 1 hour or less.

Does this not just cover the throttle assembly? U still have to splice/solder all you other controls right?
