3 easy payments or 9.99.
Bags will not falloff it attached correctly.
Deer hunting 60 mph bags destroyed bike totaled frame broke, notice the pins still in place.

It's nice that they put a rag under that hook so they wouldn't scratch the chrome.

Never seen one fail.

I've had guys that did not put the washers on... but that is not a product failure...

THAT is cranial rectumitis.

Same thing for all the guys I ride with, since 2000 and not one time has any of us have lost a bag. I'm always very careful to be sure it's tuned all the way. On the Rushmore you cant look down between the bag and fender to see if it's in all the way, but it looks nicer this way.

Yes kind of funny it was clear the bike was totaled. For what they charged they should have washed and waxed it also. Same distance tow for a car is about $150 the bike was $450.

I had one spring clip fail to keep tension on the pin after one year with 14 FLHTK. And yes the washers were in place and a different pin was also tried. Dealer replaced the spring clip and no problems for the past 10 months. Never had a problem with my 02 0r 09 FLHTCU and I had over 100k on each one. HD redesigned the spring clip for 14. What's the possibility that HD went with the cheapest vendor? There was a little squeak from the saddlebag with the defective spring clip so that was a warning signal. On a side note the 02 & 09 had the saddlebag rails as standard equipment that would have saved a bag IF it came loose. I was going to add them to the 14, but I don't care for the way they clamp to the saddlebag guard. Rant over.

I went to hardware store and got a pair of bolts with a **** on them and two clips with threads and put one on the front of each bag for about 7.00. Still pretty easy to remove since you don't need any tools and I can't see them ever coming off.
