When it rains it pours!!!!
2011 Sedona orange street glide. Compensator at 15k and I just had lifters replaced at 23k maybe 2 weeks ago. Saturday I'm riding with the chapter on the Tour of Duty ride get to Jackson Tn and bam, no throttle. Pull over and a couple of attempts to restart and still no throttle. Road caption tries a couple of things and when shed restart fuel pump would sound like **** and awfull tick in the topend. Get her towed to the Harley dealer in Jackson and the replace the throttle body and find out no compression in the front cylinder. DAMMIT!!!! I guess I'll find out the problem Tuesday. I love Ginger but if she has another mechanical that's motor related I'm getting a divorce.

Yeah, pouring over here, too. 09 SG, 24k miles. Well-maintained and not mercilessly hammered. Whirring sound led to new trans and new clutch basket (bad bearing caused it to whobble so badly that the large gear was scraping inside of inner primary cover). HD refused to warrant anything - "because it'd be unfair to owners that bought esp." New comp, of course. Ching, ching, ching. I'm keeping this bike because I love the ride and vibe of HD, but I'm buying another and it will not be HD.
