Default My matazu lowers are starting to break after 2 years of use

Since I had these off for paint, the right inner glove box and vent broke at the mounting points. Pulled off the vent for now. Bought a used glove box and vent on eBay (didn't receive it yet) and now the left side did the same thing. Just found another used one, so I guess I gotta buy it.

Just wondering if this is a weak point on ALL lowers or if it's a matazu thing, or if I just over tightened them.

The new used one I bought has the spring loaded washer thing, maybe that will help not having to tighten them so much to keep them from blowing closed.

my jen-u-wine hd lowers that I've had for 5 years are still fine. I remove the vents every spring, and replace them every winter. no rattles, don't shut by themselves, etc.

but, i'm not a painter. getting hd lowers already color matched was cheaper at the time than the mutazu and paying for paint. you paint, and there are now more choices on lowers, seen some that sell for less than $100. for that price, you can afford to replace them every couple of years.....

I've been running the OEM lowers for about 6 years, still good as new.

I got in all of my parts, and now my lowers are all HD except for the outer painted parts. Seems much more solid. And the vents operate so much better.

I've been using Matzua lowers, holding Biketronics 6.5's for over 2 Years. Thousands of miles, riding state to state. I seriously push these speakers. Knock on wood, never had 1 Problem. I never removed them because I never had a reason to.
