Default Drive Belt- What Brand?

Replacing the drive belt on a 2011 Street Glide and want to know what brand of belt is a good replacement? OEM? Gates? Or, are they all the same?

Any brand you want, as long as it says Gates on the label.

Make sure its a OEM belt or a gates. The rest will leave you on the side of the road.

We don't usually use many of them and the few I have bought have all been OEM.

Just don't get the Falcon SPC, it broke at 5K miles (no abuse either). I went with HD after that.

Since Harley isn't in the rubber business my guess is Gates probably makes them, so lose the Harley mark up and get Gates. $127 here

Thanks guys. One more question: the belt for a 2011 SG is a 140 tooth and 1" wide belt, right?
