who makes the most comfortable touring seat for a ultra ?? and where is the best place to buy it ??

 

I swapped out my stock seat for a Sundowner. You will get lots of suggestions on this one. I would buy from Zanottis or Chicago HD. You might even find one for sale in the HDForums classified section.

 

I am thinking of getting a sundowner seat for my Ultra I had one on the road king I used have.

Seats are something you absolutely MUST try for yourself.

I have a Corbin & I LOVE it, I had a Mustang & never really liked it. Everybody is different however.

I bought a sundowner this past xmas and have been very pleased with it. just put on 335 miles yesterday and no butt sore. I only wished i knew about chicago hd before I bought it.

I'm looking to buy a Mustang.I had a Corbin on My last bike and never could get used to it.

Well - get on your bike ride to Hollister CA (Corbin) and have a seat made to fit YOUR Butt - they can Not be beat - you ask...

 

Mustang is way better than stock, BUT there has got to be something even better.

I still get a sore a$$ after ~ 400 miles.

Mean City Cycles will redo your seat for a very low price, however it's a redo. Ya gotta send yours in and wait for three weeks or so to get it back. Another source I'm thinking of is Diamond Seats. They will only give you a quote after they talk to you. They want to know your personal stats and that of your passinger. They make a replacement seat for your ride. You do have to take the mounting hardare off your seat. The Gold Wing Riders think very highly of this seat. I did se a review in a mag that called it the most luxurious they had seen. They gave me a price of $650 for the seat and diriver and passinger backrest. For what it's worth.
