Most folks are getting that slammed look via front and rear air ride. Or they are doing lowering springs up front.

From the front. Ride is slightly stiffer than stock. Doesn't bother me at all. I have the HD cvo bag extensions on mine, still drag a floorboard or pipe before the bag. I think 6" bags might be an issue. I like the stance, my buddies with air ride can't ride em slammed as low as I am.

Here it is ripping through the Tail of the Dragon. Only drags if you want it to.

One downside to consider with lowering the front, especially at a 2" drop, is whacking the fender into the lower tree. Looking at those pics you can see there's not a lot of clearance on some of them.

Not a glide, but a King. Same premise. I am down 1 in the rear via Pingel one piece billet lowering blocks, and 1 1\4 in the front with Progressives Drop In Kit, with heavy oil. The rear rides as bad as it ever did due to the crappy stock air shocks, and the front rides a little more stiff. Mostly due to my use of heavy oil based on my fear of smacking my fender into the triple trees. To me, the ride is good enough to keep me happy, but I know full well it could ride better than it does. But I am very much willing to sacrifice some ride quality and cornering angle to get the style that makes me happy.

Not a good pic in the sig, but I'm down 2" in front (1" in the tree and 1" with the HD lower cart kit) and maybe 2" in the rear with Ohlins 2-2. Rides great and handles better than new. I can't see how I could go lower and still ride it like I do.

Lowered 1" up front w/Progressive monotube cartridges and rear air ride.

Love it, no regrets.

4" bags with skid plates just in case, but have only scraped a couple times. I'm more careful now.

Not a Street Glide, but lowered. 1 1/2" drop Arlen Ness dampner tubes, H-D lowering springs, 3/8" spacer and SE heavy oil in the front and 1 1/2" lowered rear shocks by Bitchinbaggers.com. Rides rougher, but no bottoming and damging the front fender or the oil cooler, which I had to modify the bracket to get it as far back as possible. With the front fender swung back to clear the 21" tire and it lowered it reduces the clearance to the H-D oil cooler.
