Just asked my wife, wasn't sure if she could see. She says she can't see over my head. I would question why your wife needs to see over your head. My wife just sits back and enjoys the ride. The only time she complains is when she says she's looking at my ears too much.

I'm 6 foot and my wife is 4'6" -- so we really have the problem -- solution -- she rides her own.

This is a common issue on the touring bikes that I hear about a lot and raising the passengers ride height by modding the seat or putting a top pad on it can create another issue that isn't often thought about till its to late. Getting the passenger up above the drivers head can create buffeting especially with DOT helmets. We raise a lot of passenger's up only to have about a 1/3 of the seats returned to have them lowered back down to stock height due to the buffeting they experience...just thought I would throw that out there.

Yeah, they want it raised then they'll want it lowered after eating a few bugs.

I couldn't see over my Ex's head - but I didn't need to and didn't worry about it or care. I could see plenty of the countryside looking side to side. I just don't get why you see women with their head over their guys shoulder either - half the time that view is only of the cars ahead of you

LOL! mine is 5'11", I'm 6'2". She's a skinny 135lbs and sits up higher than me. But she is still always hanging her head to either side and yapping my ears off...why do we bring them along, I dunno?

Ultimately, I wouldn't care if she could see 'over' me! LOL
