Wife can't see over my helmet
#31
I thought the airhawk would make a good solution but she hates it so I tried a 2" foam cushion. Now she sits so that all she needs to do is tip her head either direction to see forward. Her eyes are just below my helmet so she gets no buffeting, bugs, but can see forward when she wants to by stretching up.
Speaking of the Airhawk, my lady wants one as she claims on a long ride her butt hurts (LOL!). Are they any good? She's 5'11" as I posted earlier and already sits up high on my Mustang Passenger seat...will it make her sit higher?

If see likes it, it adds about 1/2" as they are designed to maximize comfort with just barely enough air to lift you off the seat and mold to your behind.

My wife rides her own, and my daughter rides with me occasionally, and have never heard a complaint.
I was really curious, so I googled images riding 2 up, and looked at 100 pics or so, and it appears that nobody sits that high. When looking forward they are looking over a shoulder. As suggested before, a heritage seems to sit passengers up the highest.

Hi Guys I have a 2010 Road King with a sundowner seat upgrade. I am happy with the seat except while riding 2 up my wife complains she cant see over my helmet and has to look around me or just sideways. does anybody have any solution to this without purchaseing another seat.
