I just installed a DK Customs 636 air cleaner which is just like the SE heavy breather. I also put on the cover for the heavy breather. The cover is rotating with the vibrations of the motor. Is the cover supposed to rotate or stay put?

Even with the supplied foam piece for the end of the K&N filter, the sides of the chrome tip rattle as well. I'd like the cover to stay put and thought about adding more foam or something to make the fit a little tighter.

 

Might be something to ask DK Customs. Their customer service with me has always been nothing short of excellent.

 

I had same issue.. Shouldn't rotate to my view . I put extra two sided foam tape inside cover at end and now it stays put.... U can try piece of cardboard too... Just needs some pressure against both sides to hold it still... Another solution, put water sock over filter then install your Chrome or black breather cover... This way u don't have to worry if it rains..
