My Summer trip already happened. Spent the month of June riding in Northern Calif. but mostly in Oregon. Rode from Junction City to the Coast, in the mountains and found some old Wooden Covered Bridges, rode to San Francisco, Just had a great month.
i know exactly where the first bridge photo you posted is. i grew up there.
great little swimming hole about 100 yards or so down stream from the bridge.
If it's not raining, then I'm riding somewhere. Lots of day trips benifit runs planned and going to be riding the lake superior coast in august, i can't wait.
<p>Wow, everyone, there is some seriously stiff competition right now! </p><p>You're riding cross country, riding through the <em>entire </em>mainland, entering the contest while <em>currently on</em> your road trips; not to mention, you've all got some great looking rides. </p>
From June 26 through July 3... My wife and I with two other couples ran the length of the Blue Ridge Parkway, US 129 (Tail of the Dragon) - twice, and part of the Cherohala Skyway. Total distance of 1585 miles round trip.
This was taken somewhere between Boone and Cherokee NC on the BRP.
