Does the Baker comp require their chain adjuster, or will it work with the Harley one?

And I'm assuming you don't need to deal with the glue-in piece of Harley with the Baker kit?

Does not require it and will work with the HD one. The Baker one is very nice though...

No glue in deal with the Baker but you do need the new style HD Rotor.

I had the rotor from the se comp kit i installed in 09 so if this is your second time that rotor works.
-375 w/forum disc for the baker
-0 reuse gasket
-some oil
-0 if tensioner is ok, I have had awesome luck with the hayden(100$) on my 07(other yrs not so lucky)
-38 for oem starter clutch on ebay. but this is just the gear and have not installed yet, still some grinding on hot starts, unless i start as soon as i turn ignition on.hope is works.
-tap or chaser(got the kit from hf for 65 for other projects)there was a lot of gunk in there.
-optional cleaning fluid and anti seize
-I measured away,,, and could not see any chain alignment issues.maybe let your buddy help you with this.
-grinder or drummel tool to file the IP if its first time.

Does the chain adjuster tend to break? In researching my problem I haven't seen any talk about that part going out, but I haven't really been looking either so I'm not sure how prone it is to giving out

Thanks voodoo! Could you elaborate a bit on these two items? I'm not sure what they mean (sorry!)

The stock inner primary has a lip around the 6 to 9 o'clock position(lots of threads on this) so unless you pull the inner primary off(viable option) you need a grinder to allow comp to be removed.

A strip of metal sheared off of my rotor and broke my chain tensioner.

Assuming I do the grinding to get the part out and not take off the inner primary, I can go without that gasket that I linked in my initial post. I just realized I don't have the outer gasket part number - does anyone know it? When I search on the HD site, the only one that comes up is the black inner primary (http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...-inner-primary)
