Default truck lite phase 7 problems??

helped a buddy install the phase 7 light in his 07 SG today. it looked great and had a nice light blue tint to the light on low beam. so night falls and the low beam is so dim he couldn't see a thing. turn the high beam on and it was like someone turned on the sun! is this something that has been covered or discussed? i am going to do some diagnostics tomorrow when he comes over but want to know what to look for first.

TIA

It sounds like a defective light. I have the P7 also and the color doesn't have a bluish tint on low beam, the color is the same as high beam except not as intense.

Are you sure it is not installed upside down? I have all 3 on my bike and no issues, just smiles. If it is defective a replacement would be easy with warranty.

Sounds like a defective light to me too. I suppose it's possible to install one upside down as mentioned above. The mirrored portion is on the bottom, correct?

Sounds defective to me also. I have Phase 7 headlight and passing lamps and everything is super bright.

A while back, I had a buddy to look into my TLP7 Headlight as I sat on the bike and turned on the headlight so if He could see if some kind of bug was crawling around in there when the light is on. In the garage, He bent over and locked His gaze studying intently, then I blasted my three new Fiamm Highway Blaster Horns into a nice, long chorus of various tones each, like an old Cadillac Fleetwood.
Yep, I pinned Him to the wall.
No bug in there, all seems well with the TLP7 and the horns.
Payback is gonna be rough, I just know it!
