Default Road Glide fairing support brackets

I'm doing a batwing to RG conversion on my 07 Ultra Classic, and I want to retain my engine guard and lower fairings.

I know I need 2010-2013 fairing support brackets to allow me to keep my lower fairings, but is it the 2010 - 2013 fairing frame bracket that actually raises the fairing up more at that mounting point which results in the rear of the fairing being raised also?

Will the aftermarket ghost fairing support brackets do the same thing in raising the rear of the fairing .800"?

If you want to run vented lowers, you'll need the left and right fairing support brackets from 10+, as well as the frame mounted bracket from 10+.

You cannot mix and match 10+ support brackets with an 09/earlier frame mounted bracket, or vice versa. All parts need to match.

As for the ghost brackets, while they work, there are reviews that show they're not as solid as the factory option.

Good luck on the conversion.

I do have the frame bracket # 58530-10 already, but I really don't want to spend $151 on the factory fairing support brackets for the rear. Seems really expensive for 4 pieces of cast looking material instead of billet made parts.

On the ghost brackets, they list them for up to 2013, so I was wondering if they will still allow me to keep my Ultra vented lowers in place?

I'm pretty the ghost brackets will be fine. I believe they attach to the downtubes, and you can adjust where they sit.

They may be the better option for you, because when using the stock lower mounts the fairing caps need trimmed.

I would call the mfg of the ghost brackets and confirm before I ordered.

I have the Hells Foundry H-D Road Glide FLTR "Invisible" Fairing Support brackets on my 2005 Roadie, about 20k miles since install. No problems and the look better than the fairing to highway bar bracket that was stock. It also solves all your issues with installing lowers.
