Smile PSI in shocks..

recently I was checking PSI in Stock air shocks. after checking and rechecking I noticed I went from 50 to 30 upon removing pump.. I did a further test and left pump attached over night. started with 50 PSI and in AM still 50 PSI. removed Hand Pump and lost 20 PSI.... checked again... same 40 PSI... Went to dealer tried another hand pump about same age as mine,, lost 20 PSI.. Parts lends me NEW Hand pump... pump in 50 PSI, release Pump,, Still 50 PSI.... did HD do something to valve on 2015's> Or is there a life expectancy in older hand pumps.. New pumps, PSI is holding , Happy camper

My pump is several years old and I don't loose any when I unscrew it from the valve.

My HD hand pump (2007) has always had a "sweet spot" where it will release air when unscrewing it from the valve. I just unscrew it quickly, never lose more than a pound. Same thing with the valve stem extension I recently bought for the back tire.

My pump is from 2007 and has no issues losing pressure with my 2015 FLHTK.
