Default Any news on 2016? Or just stay 14/15?

Hello All:

The time has come.....Due to an upcoming work schedule that has me away traveling a lot in the coming months to late fall in Wisc with the plan of updating for next year. I sold my 07 Ultra last night in anticipation of upgrading to newer for next season, the big question.

Is anything major expected for 2016 for the Ultra or am I just as well to watch for a deal on a 14/15. Im in no rush to purchase but if a "huge deal" should come my way I am ready to go. Otherwise Im fine waiting it out until sring of 16.

Any opinions are welcome.

Thanks mps

Why not just be patient as well as diligent and look for a garage queen?

At this point with only one month til the 2016's come out, I'd wait to see if anything major happens. If it does the 2015's will probably go cheaper. If not the 2015's will still be cheaper. Win-win.

Wisconsin - now let's think - even I've ridden quite a lot around there - lots of REALLY BIG Harley dealerships - must be at least one close to your travels, so you can call by the day after the '16s are launched.....

I'll be looking to pick up a 2015 Road Glide Special at the end of this month. I would be trying to get one as soon as the 2016's come out but I'll be out of town for some military training. Do you guys think there will still be enough left? I want to get one in denim black and I'm a little worried one won't be available which will leave me having to pony up more money for a 2016.

Let the 2016's come out next couple of weeks and see the updates and how the reviews of them are. Between XMAS and New Years pick your poison of stealers and get your best deal on a new 16 or leftover 15.
Or as someone said look for a garage queen 14/15, especially if none of the 16 updates grabs your attention.

The Road Glide Ultra may be making a comeback. Apparently, it's listed on the 2016 CARB list.

Why buy in the spring of 2016? That's prime time, little deals being had. Fall/winter and let them drop it off at your house

Agreed - wait until the only way to the dealer is by 4x4.....
