50/50, but I would bet on China. The member who originally posted about this battery believed it was a Deka. I don't know if he made that assumption or if an Ebay seller made that claim. At any rate, I trust what BatteryMart said and their price beats the $123 or there-a-bout on Ebay. There is only so much that can be done with battery chemistry and building techniques. The new battery is the same external size so I suspect the claims are largely exaggerated.

This isnt a new battery on the market & like they said isnt mfg'd by deka either.

Its a factory activated maint free 600CCA / 30AH AGM bettery i believe is mfg'd in china .

I have posted info on this battery mult times here in HDForums & has been avail for 1.5-2yrs that i am aware of.

But the $99 price quote you got on it was great!
