Default which tour pack mount will work?

I have a 96 tour pack from an ultra classic that I'm putting on my 03 electra glide. I bought a quick disconnect on ebay for an 03 and turns out it doesn't fit the 96. does anyone know which tour pack mount I can use to make this work? thank you

what doesn't fit? maybe you can drill some holes in the 96 tour pack.

What part doesn't fit?

The frame changed in 97, but most parts should work. I still have my quick disconnect set up from my 94 RK (old frame) on my 08.

It might be as simple as moving the mounting points on the frame...

can you post some pics? i have an 02 road king, i have a quick detach sissy bar, and recently got a quick detach tourpack, it was an older style tourpack mount so i had to buy these extension pieces for the tourpack to properly fit with the old style mount

I am not sure how to get pics from my library to insert into this reply. my old lady will have to show me later today. what doesn't fit is 1 the u shaped bar and the mount itself line up with the part of the pack that is supposed to sit flush on the flat part of the box where the holes are. iit should either be inside or outside of those parts of the box. second, the holes in the box and the holes in the mount are way off. I shouldn't have to modify it at all if its the right one. thanks for your reply.

When I put the leather tour pak on my 06 RKC I had to drill new holes. Covered the old ones with plastic plugs I got from Home Depot.
