Default Options for on board Nav??

I have the 08 SG and just finished my second "Road Trip", a little over 1000 miles through the North GA mountains. To often, I had to stop and refer back to my cell phone and/or map for the next "move". What are some of you guys using for NAV when you go on an extended road trip when you don't have the route memorized?

Yes. Just did 5610 miles out west over 17 days & the Zumo 665 proved invaluable. Word of caution though, I you pull up the gas station point of interest list & it says 20 miles to the nearest one unless you can ride a direct route (as crow, eagle, etc would fly there) plan on it being farther (possibly a lot) around the actual road. It reveals how far it is on the actual road only after you hit "GO". This made for a few unnerving miles.

This is what I've got,I don't leave home without it.I sprung for a 32 gig chip so it doubles as my MP3 player. I got the mount here http://www.tandtfabrications.com/

I do not care for the 6 series garmins. The 4 and 5's were much better units. Haven't tried a 3.
