Check out GMR performance in ft worth.no need to go any further.one of your biggest hindrance is too high gearing. Think about an evo industries 49 tooth clutch basket and a Baker attitude adjuster. That will make even a mild, reliable build that much more fun.

The kits are on the HD site along with dyno charts comparing them to stock. Not very impressive IMO. I would say give Fuel Moto a call and tell them your goals and see what they recommend.
I'd like to understand how they get to 110 without case boring. I've always been told 107 is the max on these cases.

Not surprised the numbers weak, HD kits never have much bang compared to buck.

I did a stage 3 103 four years ago. I pretty much had a good run as quicker than most but now that the Rushmore bikes are basically the old Stage 3 103. I'm going 107. Go big or go home. I would say the FM107.

I think you are confusing the case with the jugs. The case or bottom end stays the same and the jugs or cylinders are replaced or bored.

He's not wrong. For years the largest you could go without case boring was 103. The older 110 jugs are too large to fit in a 103 case. If you wanted to go larger you had to have the case bored.
Now HD has come up with a 110 Jug with a sleeve that fits in a 103 case.

Correct. The stroke would need to increase with a 110, thats part of how it gets to 110. Thus the angle that the rods travel is by definition wider, and the hole in the cases is not wide enough to accomodate.

But htey must have figured something out or not sure what, but it is interesting...

What is so hard for some of u guys to understand? They simply bored it super thin to 110 using higher strength steel as opposed to cast iron and their testing deems it reliable. We all agree the moco wouldn't put it out if it wasn't reliable. The case same rods same It's just a better quality bored bolt right on cylinder.

Hard to understand is not the issue. Exactly how it was done is the question.
"They simply..." is not technical data. Steel sure. What diameter is the sleeve now, and how come no one aftermarket has done this before?
Is there magic metal that now makes this possible? Did every HD aftermarket Engineer in the world overlook this configuration or was there some limitation or break through suddenly?

Also, We don't all agree whatever they've done is reliable. The 110 engines with proper larger cases and jugs are not always reliable... 1000 threads on that.

Do appreciate your passion though.

A friend of mine put a 107 kit on his 09 Electra Glide Standard and got numbers similar to what you're after.

I think he went with S&S 585 easy starts, his first trip to the dyno came up just short of 100 hp I think he hit 98 and 105 torque maybe but that was because he had ground pounder pipes on it.

Installed a 2 into 1 V&H and back to the dyno he was at 105 or 107 hp and I can't remember the torque but the numbers were nice.

please educate me as this may be a route i go.

Do you need to recal the speedo?

how does the new and improved accel affect the hwy cruising speeds ?

I do a lot of highway, but im also a very aggressive rider, i dont want to be doing 4500rpm at 70mph (cruising speed)
