Getting a 2016 Street Glide - Need Help
I'm just about to upgrade from a Sportster to Touring and I'm pretty much set on a Street Glide. My budget is somewhat restricted which is why I'm thinking of getting it pretty much stock to begin with, then add on a few things. On to my questions:
1. Can I install a rider seat, touring pak a la Ultra Limited in the future? (even if it's after market)
2. Somebody that has experience with the Screaming Eagle heavy breather elite intake? Is it good or a waste of money?
3. Was thinking of getting the Screaming Eagle High flow exhaust with Nightstick mufflers? again, good or waste of money?
Grateful for any respone.

1. Yes, you can install any Harley tour pack or seat that fits the frame.
2. Yes but there tons of free flowing breathers out there. My understanding is the Rushmore bikes do not really need a breather upgrade.
3. Don't know anything about these mufflers. I'll leave this to someone else. In general a free flowing muffler is going to improve performance. The big issue with the new bikes is the catalytic converter in the head pipe.

1-Yes
2-If you feel the need, get a K&N element ONLY, you don't need more for a stage 1.
3-Exhaust is a very personal choice, depends on how you want the bike to sound, your going to need a tuner also.
These questions are covered 100x over on this forum, stick around and read.

Tour Pak
I love my new Road Glide. I have had it 1 week. I got the removable Tour Pak. It will cost you about $2000 installed. Very clean set up. I have other pipes going on with larger breather and software upgrade... $800. I am not sure what the newly release '16 Road Glide Ultra goes for? You may find is is cheaper to go that way?

The HB is an excellent intake. If you plan future upgrades your good to go. If not, it maybe a bit of overkill. The directions on the HB intake will tell you its suggested that intake requires changes to the ECM. I tend to agree.
There is a million choices in exhaust. I would just say whatever you do get a system that gets rid of that damn catalytic converter forever. Couple the exhaust change with the new intake and a re-tune and you will be happy.
