Default Looking to buy a leftover

Wife and I are looking to buy a leftover 15 ultra or limited in the coming weeks. Problem is I'm having a hard time figuring what a good otd deal would be for us. Looking at a bike that isn't black. Pa has a 6% sales tax.

all kinds of things to look at...for example for about $600 you can set up a Montana LLC. ( and that IS current pricing )

that LLC can buy a harley and there is no MT sales tax on RV's ( that's why you see so many big motorhomes
with mt plates) and no yearly renewal, inspection.
the plates are permanent.

check the dealer in missoula/kalispell- same dealer

AZ has close to 10% sales tax...but only on NEW vehicles, there is no sales tax on private party sales of used vehicles

That's all way more involved than I'm interested in getting. Just gonna buy one around here and was wondering what a good deal would be

yes you'll have to call around to the dealers you are close to.

the Mt method can save $1500 or more on purchase and another couple of grand over lifetime.

I was at Appilation Harley in Mechanicsburg, and they are offering $2000 in accessories in addition to the 0.99% financing. That's the best I've seen, but I am more so in the west PA area.

not long ago, Albany, NY (Spitzies) was $2k off '15 touring bikes.
other dealers will negotiate more on trade in vs. knocking off MSRP... I purchased a leftover from dealer 7 years ago and they gave full retail value on trades when buying left over.

End of model year when the new bikes hit the floor is the best time to buy. They want to move the old stock so they can get more of the next years models. I have almost always bought a leftover and saved up to $3500 off MSRP doing so.

I asked for 26k otd and about 700 in items recently. Tag on the bike was 26.1 msrp. They came back at 27k and told me to buy the items myself. When we left they called about 15 minutes later and said we were close. But I thought I had a fair offer on the table.
