Default Solo tour pack relocation

I have an 08 Road King Classic which I would like to install the Solo tour pack relocation hardware #53260-02 which moves the tour pack forward for solo riding, my question is will my street glide 2 up seat be in the way. I'm wondering if the tour pack may slide over top of the passenger pad of the seat which is only about 3"

Has anyone tried this ?

Thanks for the input

Tim

Buddy of mine did that solo relocation and yes, the seat will be in the way, or at least it was on his.

HD make a solo bracket and Legions Cycle also make on that you can slide back and forth. I made my on from the old TP bracket. Just cut, bend, and weld back together. Works great.

You can fabricate shims to raise tour pack to clear seat.HD sells a shim for the front of certain model tour packs to level them.
