Someone tried to steal my bike.

Sorry to hear of the rotten luck. I recently had a jerk burn a hole in my cover while touring the gulf coast a couple weeks back.... some real a -holes out there.
Curious though....what parking garage was this? I travel to Myrtle several times a year, but most condo's won't accept bikes anytime, rally or not. I'd like the option of having a place to park and meet the wife there. Thought of paying storage at the HD shop if they'd take it.
Thanks

What am I missing? Roadlok is $200, the $50 disk lock that I bought years ago seem to do the same thing. The Roadlok's claim to fame seems to be that if you forget it's locked and try to take off there will me no damage done to the rotor or caliper. My disk lock came with a bright orange cord that loops around the throttle grip. So far, this has worked pretty well for me. This seems to be a complicated (and expensive) solution to a problem that can be solved much easier and cheaper. My .02 anyway.

Plus I don't care for the idea that if the lock failed and the pin were engage in the rotor at speed...It would really hurt. Probably a very remote failure mode. But, having done reliability analysis, the failure rate is greater than 0, and I wouldn't want to be the one it failed on.
