New Bike Warranty Question
I am wanting to grind the tabs of my switch housings so when I roll my bars forward I can adjust them so the mirrors are usable. With the problems a lot are having with the clutch switch, including myself, will this give the dealership, or the MOCO a reason to void a warranty claim for this piece?

How it's SUPPOSED to work, is if you have any problems with the bike that can be attributed to something you did, it wouldn't (and really shouldn't) be covered under warranty. If the problem isn't related to your mod, the repair should be covered.
How it works in real life will depend on a lot of variables. Impossible to predict, you'll have to either grind away and take the risk or wait till the warranty is over. Worse case scenario is that you have to pay for a repair that normally would have been covered by the MOCO.

I was talking to a parts guy at a dealership and asked him about the tabs and installing apes. He told me that they switch out the switch housing with a street glide model to do the ape install. I believe they do not have tabs. Now this was just a passing conversation so you may want to confirm that.
