My 2009 Electra Glide came with 3.5 Rinehart's. They were ok around town, but too noisy for highway for my tastes. I put on a set of Screaming Eagles 80721-09 that came off a my friends Police bike. Definitely quieter on the highway. My 09 doesn't have a cat in the headpipe. May upgrade later on, but for now I'm happier.

Question Cary Fass CFR 4 1/2" slip-on vs. Rinehart Racing Touring 4" Slip-on

Have a 2016 RGS that is stock and like everyone, want to upgrade the exhaust. Considering the Cary Fass CFR 4 1/2" slip-on or the Rinehart Racing Touring 4" Slip-on. I will at some point, upgrade the intake and add in a fuel management software pack as well but for now, I would like ya-alls opinion as to which slip on is best. Thanks!!! Mike

From the get-go put V&H High-Output ProPipe on the 2014 SGS 120R. It is loud. Dogs hide under the porch and chickens stop laying when I turn it on. It is annoying and I love it.

I always thought V&H sounded tinny, so i went with Jackpots. This was back in '08. Been riding them for 6 years or so and could not be happier. And if memory serves, if you didn't like the sound you could swap baffles for $50 or so.

Yours sounds good. Mine has a raspier sound. Blew out a lot of muffler packing when we ran it hard on the dyno. Stuff hung in the air for a while. Lot of crackle between shifts. I like that.

Stock 2015 103....I'm going to cut the cat out also to help with the heat.
Remove the CAT. Period.
