Default Horn question

I am replacing my horn to a Wolo on my 1992 FLHS. there are 2 wires. 1 black and 1 green. Which wire is ground and which is hot?

Traditionally black is the color used for the ground. Now having said that...I would get your multimeter...or borrow one from a friend...and check for sure.

I always thought green, was ground.

I'd second the idea to put a meter on and verify it. If it's factory installed or was put in by someone following standards, black is usually negative. In your case I'd guess that the black is negative and the green is positive.
Easy enough to check with a multi meter.

In household wiring. Green or bare copper could be ground. White or grey is usually neutral, and other colors (red, black) are hot.

in 12v D/C (cars, motorcycles, boats,) black is usually negative and red positive.

harley uses black for ground---but as above check with a meter.
